Yup Christmas came early! I did Leona's head shots this morning. :)

Christmas Party

Today Leona got to meet Santa for the first time at Anthony's firehouse Christmas party. She didn't cry at all but she also didn't look at the camera, I think she was fascinated by the shiny wrapping paper. This was her very first Christmas present!

Splitsville

This baby is crazy flexible. Anthony thinks this outfit doesn't match but I thought she looked  pretty rad.

Baby Ben

Last Sunday Leona and I headed over to meet Melinda's new son, baby Ben Ackell. He was so tiny and sweet! Leona made herself comfortable and played with all of his toys.  Congratulations Melinda and JJ!

I love the holiday season....

soooo much! Anthony caved and we went and got a real tree, hurrah!!! I know the pine needles are a pain but I love everything about having a Christmas tree. I love the smell and the lights at night, and even the whole process of going out to get one in the cold and then digging out all the ornaments from my death trap of a closet. Here are some pictures from our day. Watching us decorate wore Leona out, so she's taking one of her marathon couch naps right now.

Working from Home

Most of you know I'm lucky to spend a few days a month working at home with Leona and I'm really thankful for that. It saves us a ton of money and it's fun for me to spend the day with her. She likes everything I design so it's also nice to have that positive feedback for a change. Ha ha. Well this week Leona and I had a great Thursday at home together. She was in such a good mood and even Josie noticed. She did a little army crawl to try and reach my coffee mug at one point, but she's not quite there yet. I'm enjoying these last moments sitting on the floor with my computer and my little sedentary baby before she takes off crawling. I know too soon that will all change.

Thanksgiving

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We had tons of fun hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa Ward, thanks for coming out! On Thanksgiving day we headed out to Long Island to spend time with the Mastropietro family. Except for making the baby choke on sweet potatoes we had an awesome day. :) And guess what? Leona learned how to wave! Cutest thing ever.

Sweet Sunday

Here are some pictures from our little family Sunday. We had pancakes, played some blanket peek-a-boo, and took a chilly walk in the neighborhood. All in all it was a great day!

This isn't a very happy picture, Leona wanted to be picked up! But I couldn't resist posting it since finally her little teeth are showing in a picture. She has been using them often. She likes to eat books and bite me.

Also I borrowed a fancy camera this weekend for a little photo shoot, Leona was my little helper. Here she is playing in her pack n' play under the warm lights like a little baby chickie. That's the only place she can play with plastic toys when Josie is around. It's like a big toy box that she can play inside.

That's right, the months are flying by! Now that LB knows how to stand she'd rather not sit, thankyouverymuch.

Lovely Autumn Day

Today was gorgeous outside so we headed over the the playground in the park for the first time as a family. What lovely fall weather!

Her First Laptop

Since Leona is so fascinated by the computers we decided to get her her own little baby laptop. I think her favorite part is closing it and throwing it across the room.

She was super fussy until I took the camera out, then it was all smiles.

Count Josie in! Sometimes when she notices Leona sleeping on the couch she'll give her a couple sniffs and lay down next to her.

Leona is a pretty good art director though I wish she'd let me take a break once in awhile.

More Halloween Pics

Here are a couple pictures from Halloween at Grandma and Grandpa M.'s house. We hung out on the porch for a bit and Leona seemed fascinated by this little baby pumpkin. So cute!
