Play Mat

Along with the Bumbo we bought Leona this little activity mat that has hanging toys. I can't tell if she really likes it or if it makes her angry like a little grizzly bear.

Longest nap ever

This little couch nap started around 6 and it is still happening, 3 hours later! There is a nice breeze with the fans and apparently LB likes the sound of Bridezillas in the background. We'll see if she sleeps tonight. :)

Bumbo!

Leona loves her new Bumbo chair! Turns out she was a little tired of lying on her back all day, she seems to really enjoy sitting upright and looking around. It's also her lucky color, lime green. We thought Josie would try to eat the chair since it is made of a soft foam, but so far she has left it alone. Thank goodness!

Happy Father's Day!

Jokester

Whenever LB plays with these little plastic keys Anthony likes to say "Where are YOU going?" Yesterday he tried to convince her that the cops were coming and they had to get out of here. She thought it was funny but didn't seem too worried.

Milestone!

Little Leona slept in her crib for the first time last night. It was very bittersweet. She has been sleeping in a little bassinet right next to our bed since she came home from the hospital. It was great to just be able to open my eyes and see her right there, reach over and feel her belly rise, and hear all of her little sighs through the night. Although her crib is only a few feet away it feels very different! She's getting so big. We knew it was time because the past few mornings we would wake up and she had squirmed down to the bottom of the bassinet and her legs were hanging out between the bars. So now she has room to try and roll. She is getting close, she keeps grabbing for her little feet. Doesn't she look good in green? :)

3 months!

Leona is 3 months old today, and she is thrilled about it. I was happy to see that she fits into the cute denim dress from her auntie Amy! Here are a few pictures from this morning, you'll see she doesn't mind Josie kisses anymore.

Baptism

Leona Belle was baptized today at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church wearing her dad's original baptismal gown. She led all of the babies in a chorus of crying. Just kidding, she did great. It was a very special day.

Reading!

Leona is loving these little padded books, almost as much as eating her hands.

Our Stripey Baby

Anthony hates these pants. Leona and I love them. Ha! And look who has mastered holding her brush. She doesn't know how to use it but it's a start.
 

Guess whose birthday was today?

That's right! It's Josie's 2nd birthday!!!! We had an extra person at the party this year, and Anthony made Josie's favorite peanut butter birthday cake.
