Fall Fun!

This weekend was awesome. We saw some great friends, played in the leaves in the backyard, and watched Twilight again. Pretty rad.

Awesome Autumn

Today we went back to another favorite playground. LB shuffled through the leaves and climbed up and down the steps to the every different slide. Right now she enjoys the the steps more than the slides, which is just fine by me.

Josie sometimes likes to sit on Leona's lap. Her lap isn't quite big enough, yet.

Not the NYC Marathon

Instead of running 26 miles today we decided to play in Josie's water bowl then go to our favorite park. I don't think it burned as many calories but we still had fun.

Lazy Saturday

This morning someone was being a little cranky-pants so we took a nice walk outside to get some fresh air. Leona loves to watch the train go by so we stood out on the lawn for awhile just waving at the people on the train. Anthony is working all weekend so it's just us girls. After our walk we did some shopping at the home goods store  and now Josie and I are just waiting for LB to wake up from her afternoon nap. Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend!

Pasta Peek-a-boo

After dinner last night LB decided to wipe her hands on the curtains. When she saw I had the camera she started playing peek-a-boo. She was pretty pleased with herself. BTW she doesn't usually eat dinner without a shirt on, but it was pasta sauce and she was wearing a new shirt. (Also she won't tolerate bibs anymore.)

Happy Halloween!

For Leona's 2nd Halloween she dressed up as a little cupcake. We didn't take her trick-or-treating but we did walk around Grandma and Grandpa's neighborhood to check out the other kids' costumes. Then we headed home to pass out candy.  We learned that Leona loves Kit-Kats and still hates hats.

Uncle Doug's big day

Congratulations to Doug and Liz on their big wedding day! The wedding was the weekend before last and it was super fun. So fun that I only took one picture, boo. We had a great time and now LB has a new auntie! She also gave every person in the bridal party about ten high-fives.

Cuddle Time

My favorite time of night is between 7:30 and 8:30, right after Leona's bath and before her bedtime. That's our snuggle time. Sometimes she doesn't make it until 8:30.
